Breakfast in a book shop

We had the night in Uliyas appartment which was very nice. In the evening we met her boy friend fist time and Gilbert again. Another beer and some talking and planing for the next day then we were ready to get some sleep.

In the morning a small book shop near by offers a nearly European breakfast. We decide to go to pottery town near the airport in Taipeh County.

The weather is again try and sunny. We stroll along the streets with millions of small pottery shops and could not decide which of all these beatifull small tea pots is worth to buy. It takes hours before we find a suitable one.

After lunch we are successfull.

The town is famous not for it´s shops alone. There is a big ceramic museum too and we go for a visit there. Lots of historical and educational exhibts but also an exhibition on modern art cermaics is impressing. The museum closes at five and we have to get off too early.

Ice lottery

A funny buissnes case we find in the streets is the ice cream lottery. Pay 10 NTD and turn the wheel. Usually you will get one ball of ice cream but if you are lucky the wheel states 2 or even 3! I will have only one...

Others have more luck.

A last Taiwanese beer

Getting closer to the eveniing my mind is more and more thinking about departing to the airport. Another dinner in a cook shop and some sight seeing in a historical town and finally we´re on our way to the airport.

We´re good in time and it´s time to say goodbye. We hope to come back to Taiwan some time to visit more of the attractive mountains. A last hello and then we´re on our own again.

Boarding and safety check is done quickly and we have some spare time which we take our time to have a last Taiwanese beer. Amazing two weeks lay behind us and we are a little bit sad to leave.
